What's Hoppin' this Week? 3/20

Happy March Madness everyone. This is always one of my favorite times of year. Whether you looking for a place to watch all the games or avoid them completely, don't forget to drink local this weekend. GO ZAGS!

Thursday, March 21st

- The Globe bar and grill is hosting a pint night to benefit the local chapter of Big Brothers and Big Sisters. From 5 to 8 pm, $1 from every pint sold will be donated. Facebook.

Friday, March 22nd

- Pints Alehouse in North Spokane is celebrating their 7th anniversary with special barrel-aged releases  and Imperial IPAs starting at 3 pm. Stop in for a beer and congratulate them on 7 years! Facebook.

- The Cork and Tap in CD'A, a place I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't heard about until today, is hosting a Post Falls Brewing tap takeover starting at 6 pm. Now that they are on my radar, hopefully I'll be better about finding their events. Facebook.

Saturday, March 23rd

- Day two of Pints weekend-long celebration kicks off at 3 pm with 3 more beers tapped.

- English Setter Brewing is embracing its canine heritage by hosting an all day event to benefit SpokAnimal from noon to 9 pm. Full details can be found on Facebook.

- Nectar in Kendall Yards will be participating in Orval Day to celebrate the world famous Trappist Ale starting at noon. Facebook.

Sunday, March 24th

- Now that the Winter version of the Lester Cup has finished. It is time to see who has come out on top. Bellwether Brewing will be hosting the awards party from 1 to 7 pm. Please note that this is a PRIVATE EVENT only for people who completed their ballots. The fully stamped ballots will be your entry into the event, so don't forget them.
